We are looking for individuals willing to work on a commission or multiple company rep basis for our growing Engineering consulting business. We are looking for well rounded, energetic, resourceful individuals.

This is an ideal position for a sales professional or account rep with an 8+ year track record of success in a hunter sales role strategically managing a territory and at least a 2 year track record closing $1M+ in annual sales.

The company provides specialized mechanical engineering conulting services along with training & mentoring. We also provide our clients with recruitment placement services.

Now, we need a top performing, hunter, sales professional to take the company to the next level of growth.

Position Goals

Close new business; sell recruitment and consulting services to customers
Write and follow annual sales plan
Intelligently manage a sales territory; prospect, qualify, present, and close
Develop and enhance prospecting campaigns in conjunction with marketing and sales management; self generate leads as well
Spend majority of selling time performing in-person qualified sales calls
Promote new company image.

Qualifications

8+ years proven track record in consultative sales; a hunter
Proven ability to manage complex, executive level, multi-decision maker, consensus gaining, sales process
Track record of increasing revenue; meeting and exceeding new business annual quotas of $1+ million for at least two years
Proven ability to bring in new business
Strategic seller; able to work closely with senior company executives to identify and consult on business challenges
Excellent communication skills; a phone presence and adept at presenting in-person presentations
Travel based on sales activity generated
The following qualifications are a plus:
o Understanding of the market of mechanical engineering consulting, preferably engineering background, strong CAD knowledge - Pro/E preferred

o Current resident of the GTA

o Existing contacts with engineering consulting clients preferred

Title: Sales Engineer
Sales Cycle: 1 - 5 months
Average Deal Size: $20K to $100K+
Target Market: manufacturing/product development & CAD support
Base Salary: commission based to full time for proven contributor
Total Compensation at Goal: no cap!
Quota: $0.5 to $1.0 million first year
Benefits: comprehensive package available with full time placement
Office location: Mississauga, Ontario
Territory: manage all nationwide leads initially, territory to be redefined as team grows
Reporting to: President
